It would appear that in the midst of mainstream climate change discussions, little is said about the soil and agricultural practices that can be utilized to provide solutions to the problem. This TED talk, given by Mr. Tony Lovell, speaks to the idea of putting Carbon back where it belongs- in the earth. “Excess atmospheric carbon can be sequestered in the soil, bringing our atmosphere back into balance and reversing climate change.” Mr. Lovell even beings his talk with an introduction to how/why the human brain copes (or is reluctant to cope) with the concept of climate change itself. A great primer on Carbon and soil sequestration, check it out here; Soil Carbon Ted Talk
