Growing power is a non-profit organization that does amazing work; they provide hands on training, on-the-ground demonstration, outreach and technical assistance for people from diverse backgrounds who want equal access to affordable, healthy food. Growing power has locations in Milwaukee, Chicago, New Jersey, and Madison, where projects and growing methods, education and technical assistance, and food production and distribution are the foundation of providing “important opportunities for individuals and communities to network with each other as they work in partnership to promote food security and environmentally sound food production practices.”
