We need to keep corks out of the waste stream and we need cork because it is nature’s little buoys for our all oil spill booms!
Every backyard could have an urban edible garden, tiny home, and chicken coop.
The front doors of the Eco-Home, with our hobbit doors made of 60% recycled car parts and scrap metal.
The Ask
We are desprately seeking the help of wine connaisseurs everywhere! We need your corks!
Please don’t throw them away, think of us and keep a little bag for Matter of Trust to plunk them in when you’re popping open the bubbly… We thank you! And so does Mother Nature!

What We Do With The Corks
We accept all natural and synthetic wine corks, as well as the metal caps and wires that come with champagne bottles.
Natural corks are used in our 100% natural floatation oil spill clean up booms made of hair and pet fur clippings. You shampoo because hair collects oil (and now oil spills)!
Synthetic corks are used in our new project researching insulation cubes made from laundry lint (microplastic fibers) and synthetic hair wigs, extensions and synthetic bottle corks. These cubes are to be used in Tiny Homes for sound proofing and temperature regulation insulation.
Even the wires and caps can be useful at recyclable decorations for packages and as little chairs for Hairy Fairy Gardens that use our Hair Mulch to help planting projects in schools!
