The second annual Lake Stevens Clean-Up Dive is scheduled for today.
The event is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at several locations around the lake.
For the clean-up, divers go underwater and pull up as much trash as they can find. Last year, 14 divers pulled more than 600 pounds of trash from the water along city beaches.
The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at Lundeen Park, 10108 Lundeen Parkway, with diver check-in and staging. From there, divers will fan out to Wyatt Park Swim Beach and Boat Launch; North Cove city swim beach; North Cove Park swim beach and the North Cove boat launch, as well as Lundeen.
All divers must be certified and have a fair amount of diving experience.

Hair clippings fight oil spill: Hair clippings usually go in the garbage.
Paroba College of Cosmetology is joining salons and cosmetology schools around the country in donating hair clippings to help with the clean up of the Gulf Coast oil spill.
Matter of Trust, a California-based organization, collects hair clippings to make hair mats that soak up oil on beaches and in harbors.
Through Monday, Paroba College of Cosmetology offers $5 haircuts to help collect hair clippings that will be shipped directly to the clean-up efforts. Also, donate old nylons, which are part of the hair mats.
