Please note:  They mowed over the paw prints just like every where else and that is new greener growth you see popping back up fast!  Edges always grow first then fill in wherever the fiber mulch is laid.  Talking with Dr. Gary Andersen of LBL, we think it’s fiber much substrate support for fungi creating like a fungi Fairy Ring as the Irish Folk Tales talk about.  The mycelium fungi reaction – growth spreading outwards in the soil.

Also this is “Wild Soils” which is an organic farm and run by UK’s King of Compost (for King Charles) Nick Padwick and his son Ben Padwick. Even though this is such fertile and cared for soil, the fiber is clearly still making a big difference.

They are very excited with the results.  2025 was also the hottest summer ever recorded in the UK, the testing is showing much more moisture under the hair mulch and this is of vital importance to farmers.  Next, we are covering the compost pile rows with waste wool to see if it insulates and keeps them warm enough all winter.  We are doing parallel trials in CA and other sites as well.
